Would you like to find out more about your inner Summer season?
Would you like to celebrate your beauty and creative power alongside other women? If so, this workshop may be for you.
Do you:
During this beautiful day together we will enjoy shamanic journeying and drumming, dancing, feasting and sacred adornment and explore the deep relationship with our natural feminine rhythms and our inner Summer archetype. The Summer archetype is one of fertility, whether that is conceiving a baby or giving birth to new ideas, projects, and ultimately, the act of giving birth to ourselves.
Menstruation is a map of our physical, emotional and psychological well-being, and is encoded with spiritual and practical wisdom for women due to it's phases that mirror the Moon and the Earth's seasons.
The Summer phase of a woman's cycle represents fertility and motherhood, whether that's mothering a physical child, giving birth to projects, or mothering ourselves.
This workshop offers you the chance to empower yourself with new insights and understanding into your ever changing emotions and physicality to allow you to explore your inner Summer.
This day will include shamanic drumming and journeying, as well as celebration of our Summer archetype of fertility and motherhood with dancing, feasting and sacred adornment.

The menstrual cycle is a powerful resource for women. In this workshop we will explore this inner resource and find ways to create health and well-being, and open the door to the a feminine spiritual path. By exploring and respecting this resource, women have the power to transform their lives.
If you hear the call to create better menstrual health and understand yourself and your path more deeply, then I invite you to join me in circle.

This one day workshop will focus on creating menstrual health by improving understanding of our cycles and their importance to our emotional and physical well-being. We will gather in circle to explore our relationship with our menstrual cycle, and will be using shamanic drumming, guided meditation and art.
Menstruation is a map of our physical, emotional and psychological well-being, so come and empower yourself with new insights and understanding into your ever changing emotions and physicality to allow you to find your creative power days and nourish your tender times.
The day will be facilitated by Fiona Willis, a shiatsu practitioner, Birthing From Within mentor and doula, and graduate and Menstruality Mentor of the Women's Quest Apprenticeship training with Alexandra Pope. Fiona is also currently training in Shamanic Midwifery with Jane Hardwicke Collings, and will bring her many years of personal experience of working with the cycle and it's mysteries to this life changing workshop.
This workshop will run in a beautiful and intimate rural location near Bath, Somerset from 10am - 4pm on Sunday the 19th April 2015. This investment into your feminine health is £35, and some concessions are available.
This is the first time I'm offering this workshop, and this is reflected in the low cost: future workshops will be approximately £50, so now is the time to book a place for such a great price!

Here are some beautiful and powerful words about Menstruality from Alexandra Pope, my mentor at the Red School (formerly the Women's Quest):
"Menstruality is the female life process of menarche, the menstrual cycle, menopause and the mature years. It is the woman’s ground, her initiatory process and ‘the mother cycle’, out of which rises the initiatory path to motherhood that is conception, pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding. Menstruality describes the precise and multi–layered biological, psychological and spiritual system of evolution within the female body. Menstruality is the actual lived experience of this process, the knowledge that a woman accumulates or grows down into, and the field consciousness that this embodied knowledge generates.
Menstruality is a means of naming and exploring the ineffable, mysterious forces within a woman—the hidden powers that are released when consciousness is brought to bear on our biological life changes. Menstruality is both a woman’s unique Calling or Power and the evolutionary path by which she realises that Power. Menarche, menstruation and menopause are the key way stations of initiation or Awakening to the Power. The menstruating years are the practice ground for realising it, and the mature years a time of deep fulfillment of that Calling or Power.
Menstruality describes a woman’s journey of individuation from ego–based consciousness to participatory consciousness—an extraordinarily integrated and complete system of psychological and spiritual growth.
Menstruality is a language, a way of articulating a woman’s experience that is rooted in natural lore and the process of evolution. It is how women pass on our knowledge of our feminine life process from one to another. It is a shared way of being."

A quote from someone who attended a previous workshop with Michelle:
"I was not looking forward to the subject matter of this workshop. However, Michelle with her compassionate, loving and non judge mental approach made it a heartening and reassuring day. Many thanks."
