Healing Birth & Awakening the Divine Feminine - a two day residential workshop and retreat with Benig Mauger; Jungian Psychotherapist and Author.
While wanting to progress on our spiritual path, we are often held back by our sense of wounding. In this workshop Benig will outline the impact prenatal life, birth and early parenting has on our psyches and offer a framework for understanding how these imprints are played out in our lives and relationships.
With its unique blend of Jungian Psychology and Spirituality and using meditation, art, music and dream work, this workshop will examine the soul patterns transmitted to us in early life and suggest that rather than hampering us, our wounds are actually conduits to healing and soul growth. Using myth and poetry and a workbook to help you begin your healing journey, you will awaken the Divine feminine Within reconnecting with and healing your heart from wounds you feel have held you back. Uncovering your personal birth myth and identifying your patterns in relationships will help you balance your inner masculine and feminine and recover a sense of wholeness and spiritual purpose.
Benig Mauger is a Jungian psychotherapist and author, birth teacher, writer and speaker whose early life propelled her into seeking the deeper meaning of how we come into the world. Her latest book ‘Love in a Time of Broken Heart-Healing From Within ’ which forms the basis of her Healing From Within workshops, was published in 2008. As well as maintaining a private practice in Ireland, Benig travels internationally to teach, lecture and run workshops.

Testimonials
"Benig's workshop was the best I have attended in a long time, a combination of deep inner work and physical play which included singing, dancing, writing and drawing. She held us as we told our stories, moved through our grief, relived our past through our presence with each other. Benig has the ability to adapt to the participants' needs, and the strength to guide the group to a compassionate whole. Her books are simple enough for the layman and yet complex enough to hold the attention of the clinical worker. Wonderful!"

"With the use of archetypes, fairy tales and dream enactment, Benig encouraged us to explore how our earliest experiences shape our patterns of relating. I found Benig to be a very human and compassionate woman who shared some of her own journey with us thus enabling us to do the same. A truly healing and transformative experience!” - Social Care Worker
